Where heritage meets the next generation.

1835 Property and Marlborough Capital came to us with an ambitious brief: create a brand identity for Adelaide's most significant new student accommodation development, a landmark build on North Terrace, steps from the city's major universities and directly alongside some of Adelaide's most iconic heritage architecture.

The brand needed to feel premium and contemporary without turning its back on its surroundings. It needed to appeal to a new generation of students while commanding the confidence of a serious property development.

The identity is anchored by a custom logomark that transforms the building's address '88' into an interlocking geometric form, connecting four circles through a signature diamond detail. It reads as both a number and a symbol: structured, precise, and quietly distinctive. The wordmark pairs clean uppercase typography with the icon to create a system that scales from a construction hoarding to a door panel.

The colour palette reflects the physical character of the site itself, Terracotta, Sand, and Linen draw from the warmth of Adelaide's bluestone heritage, while Midnight grounds the brand with the confidence befitting a premium development. Together, they sit comfortably between old and new.

88 North Tce is a brand built to grow with the building, and to become a fixture on one of Adelaide's most storied streets.
